NEW YORK, USA // Graduating from Cal Poly/San Luis Obispo, CA with a math degree in 1991 (a miracle, considering how much time he spent on the couch at the campus radio station KCPR), Scott segued right into working in the A&M Records radio promotion department in Los Angeles as the head of college radio promotion. He eventually transitioned into a marketing position there, and when A&M closed its doors in 1999 he moved to New York for an Epic Records marketing position.

Currently an SVP of Marketing at Epic, Scott works with acts such as Modest Mouse, Sara Bareilles, Sade, Judas Priest, Ozzy Osbourne, A Great Big World, Chevelle, Fiona Apple and Michael Jackson.
