SAN FRANCISCO, USA // Qin Li is the Director of Industrial Design at fuseproject in San Francisco.

Founded in 1999, fuseproject is an award-winning design agency based in San Francisco. Taking a long-term approach to developing and enhancing brands, fuseproject works internationally across a wide array of industries including tech and biotechnology, furniture, fashion, environmental design, and consumer goods.

Originally from China, Qin has been with fuseproject since 2004 and was appointed Director of Industrial Design in 2012. She has received numerous awards for her work, including an IDSA Design of the Decade Award.

Over the past nine years at fuseproject, Qin has worked on a variety of design projects. She has led the development for such projects as the Herman Miller PUBLIC Office Landscape + SAYL Chair, all generations of UP, Jambox, and headsets for Jawbone, Edge for Movado, as well as projects with Kodak, Fluidigm, Coca Cola, and more. Qin is responsible for the entire design process—from ideation, to strategic thinking, to production—that includes a holistic design experience with branding, packaging, and UI design.
