BETHESDA, USA // Jennifer Utz Ilecki is the Vice President of Buzz Marketing & Partnerships at Marriott International. A member of the global marketing leadership team, Jennifer is responsible for the development and execution of marketing campaigns that drive positive consumer conversations about Marriott’s portfolio, brands, and loyalty program around the world.
Jennifer leads what has emerged as one of the most creative and dynamic groups at Marriott, creating high-profile events leveraging partnerships and sponsorships across Sports, Entertainment, Music, Fashion, and Culinary. Jennifer manages the company’s largest global partnerships and strategic alliances, which include the NFL, Universal Music Group, Manchester United Football Club, Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport, Visa, American Express, PepsiCo and others.
Through her work with these esteemed partners, Marriott continues to explore new and innovative ways to grow awareness, shape perception and drive buzz by integrating social, mobile, digital and experiential strategies into global marketing campaigns.
In addition, Jennifer oversees Marriott’s multicultural and purpose-driven marketing efforts, driving advocacy among African American, Latino, LGBTQ and Women travelers. Previously, Jennifer served as Vice President & Managing Director at Meredith Corporation, serving brands such as AMC Networks, Beiersdorf, Chrysler, Diageo, Lavazza, NBC Universal, Luxottica Group, Volkswagen and more. She launched her career through a variety of sales and marketing roles at New Media Strategies, Discovery Communications, National Public Radio and NBC Sports.
She graduated cum laude from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and has completed additional coursework at The New York University Leonard N. Stern School of Business and The University of Cambridge in England. In 2016, Jennifer was named one of Washington Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 Business Leaders.
