Chief Marketing Officer
Stuart Weitzman

NEW YORK, USA // Behnaz Ghahramani is the Chief Marketing Officer of Stuart Weitzman, a role she has held since September 2018. In this position, she has guided the global luxury footwear brand into a new era — to inspire women around the world with style and confidence to let their inner strength shine. Her culture-shifting initiatives include partnering with trailblazing tennis champion and SW global ambassador Serena Williams, beginning in Spring 2020. She has also introduced new social impact efforts, including philanthropic partnerships with nonprofits Vital Voices Global Partnership and i am a voter.

In addition, under her leadership, Stuart Weitzman has expanded both its digital presence and ecommerce business. Always ready to make bold moves, she has elevated the brand’s content by spearheading a series of digital-first initiatives and leveraging digital channels to drive business online and in stores. Fostering company culture is also a key priority for Behnaz: She is a founding executive member of the Tapestry Diversity & Inclusion Council, which champions diversity and inclusion in the fashion industry, with a particular focus on empowering women.

Prior to Stuart Weitzman, Behnaz was the Vice President for Global Marketing of Luxury Collections, Lauren and Licensing brands at Ralph Lauren, where she was headed Global Brand Strategy, Advertising, Marketing, Digital and Social Media. In her role, she was instrumental in commemorating the 50th anniversary of the iconic brand.

Previously, Behnaz was the Director of Marketing for Gucci in the Americas, where she supported the brand transformation from a luxury heritage brand to an industry leading fashion brand under Alessandro Michele. While at Gucci, she also supported the development and launch of Chime for Change, a global campaign founded by Gucci, Salma Hayek Pinault and Beyoncé Knowles Carter to raise funds and awareness for girls’ and women’s empowerment, with a focus on education, health and justice.

Behnaz holds a Bachelor of Science in Decision Sciences and Management Information Systems from George Mason University, and an MBA from INSEAD in France and Singapore, where she founded the INSEAD Women’s Leadership Conference.

Behnaz currently resides in New York with her husband Arnaud and daughters Léa and Ava.
