BROOKLYN, USA // Ritesh is a new voice in filmmaking whose work focuses on a search for two central themes -- truth & identity. A former journalist turned filmmaker, in his brief five-year directing career, he’s become renowned for crafting some of the most watched, celebrated and awarded brand films in the world. His work utilizes a documentary storytelling background to recontextualize and humanize some of the biggest moments & athletes in sports.

A past winner of the Clios, Clio Sports and Clio Music - including a recent recipient of 2x Grand Clios as creative lead for Beats by Dre’s highly acclaimed You Love Me - Ritesh’s films have become global hits with sports fans, including last year’s winner This Bud’s for 3 for Budweiser and Dwyane Wade which netted a Best Direction Clio Sports Gold. His previous collaborations with Budweiser have resulted in the viral films Chicago Cubs: Harry Caray’s Last Call and Dale Earnhardt Jr: One Last Ride. He’s also created films for Comcast Olympics, NFL Films, ESPN Films, NYT Op Docs and Chelsea FC.

A one-time TV sports anchor who somehow stumbled into advertising and brand storytelling, he is currently at work on directing his first feature-length narrative film. As well as in development on an episodic scripted series about the world of major college sports.
