BURBANK, USA // Christy Carew is a Burbank-based composer for film, television, advertising and the concert world. She also works as Music Director, Composer and Producer for 5 Alarm Music, a division of Anthem Entertainment. Her score for the acclaimed romantic sci-fi short "Virtually" was nominated by the Tenerife International Film Music Festival (FIMUCITÉ) for the 2019 Fimucinema Award for Best Original Score (Short Film), and she recently won BEST SCORE at the 2021 Artemis Women in Action Film Festival (“Boy Eats Girl.”) In television, Christy’s custom compositions and arrangements can be heard in shows from NBC Universal, Warner Brothers, Showtime, National Geographic, CBS, the CW and more.

In the advertising world, Christy’s music has been featured by Saks 5th Avenue, Cartier, and Dazed Beauty/Gucci among many others.

She is an alumna of the prestigious Sundance Film Music and Sound Design Lab at Skywalker Sound, and the acclaimed ASCAP Film Scoring Workshop.
