LOS ANGELES, USA // Rhys Thomas is an Emmy award-winning director and producer best known for his work on Documentary Now! and Saturday Night Live. Rhys hails from South Wales and was educated at Trinity College, Dublin. Rhys has directed over 100 SNL shorts as well as the opening title sequences for SNL’s 40-43rd seasons; the SNL40 special, which he also produced, garnering him his first primetime EMMY win. This year, Rhys directed Marvel’s mini series Hawkeye Disney. The six part series follows the Avenger, Hawkeye, and the continued expansion of the Marvel universe.
