NEW YORK, USA // Shahendra Ohneswere is a marketing executive who has led award-winning, culture shifting global campaigns for artists & brands for over 15 years. He specializes in digital content development, creative marketing, live entertainment, and talent management. Shahendra has been named one of Variety’s “Hitmakers,” Advertising Age’s “40 Under 40,” Billboard’s “Hip-Hop & R&B Power Player,” featured in The New York Times, and more.
Shahendra is currently the SVP of Content Development & Co-Head of Digital Marketing Columbia Records, a role he has held since 2018. He is responsible for developing and executing Columbia’s content strategy and helping to drive the online creative presence of its roster, including having contributed to campaigns for Lil Nas X, Harry Styles, Rosalía, Fivio Foreign, Lil TJay, and more. He joined Columbia Records in 2018.
Prior to Columbia Records, he was the SVP of Creative Marketing at Roc Nation, where he worked across campaigns for Jay-Z, Vic Mensa, Justine Skye, Robinson Cano, the Made In America Festival, and more.
Shahendra was born in Paramaribo, Suriname. He graduated from Hunter College with a degree in Media & Communications. He currently lives in Brooklyn, New York.
