BROOKLYN, USA // Julie Ruiz ( she/her ) is an award-winning creative and design director with more than twenty years of leadership, branding, design, photography, film and advertising experience in the entertainment, music and broadcast industries.

She is currently VP Creative Director of Global Design at VICE Media Group. Leading a large team of multi-skilled creatives in developing innovative and brand defining work that is in service of the VICE Media Group portfolio of brands.

Through her career she has helped elevate legendary brands such as VH1, MTV, Nickelodeon, VICELAND and VICE and also spends her off-hours photographing live shows on film and helps to build out brand identities for her favorite musicians.

Julie has been featured in and recognized for creative excellence by CLIO, Promax, Emmys, ADC, the One Show, Cannes Lions, AIGA, PRINT, Communication Arts, PDN, LE BOOK, GDUSA, HOW, CTAM, Creativity and named "Person to Watch" by Graphic Design USA.
