LOS ANGELES, USA // Adam Finkelstein is a highly-acclaimed Clio and Golden Trailer award-winning editor, based in Los Angeles. In a career that spans 14 years, he is known for bringing an exceptional breadth of knowledge, craft, and creativity to trailers across genres.

Hailing from New York, Finkelstein was inspired to pursue a career in film early in life. He started as an intern for Trailer Park in his final semester at Boston University and, upon graduation, moved to California to join the agency full time. Starting as an assistant, Finkelstein demonstrated extraordinary tenacity in an extremely competitive field—cutting trailers in his spare time until he was given his first dedicated project and the title of editor.

Today, Finkelstein has had the opportunity to create well-recognized trailers and teasers for studios and streamers, including Mad Max Fury Road; Stranger Things; Interstellar; Wonder Woman 1984; Pacific Rim; Wonder Woman; Ryan Murphy’s Ratched; The Adam Project; Hunger Games, and many more. Most recently, Finkelstein edited the trailers for Jurassic World Dominion and Stranger Things 4.

With a deep respect for music and sound design, and a well-honed instinct for visual drama, Finkelstein believes: “there’s no better entertainment than a great trailer.” Finkelstein currently resides in Studio City, CA with his wife, Kelly, and their two dogs, Figment and Louie.
