BALTIMORE, USA // Elizabeth Malafa Kurman is no newcomer to the event space – in fact, she made her first foray into the event world at the age of ten when she started planning birthday parties for her siblings. She now leads a team of event professionals as the Head of Experiential Marketing and Global Events for Under Armour Inc.

As an industry veteran she has worked with such groups as the NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, MLS and the USOC sharing her passion in creating memorable and remarkable experiences. Teamwork is at the forefront of her management style, and she believes you accomplish more together then separately. Beth believes you need to empower others to bring their best talents forward and encourages others to make an impact and create events and experiences with meaning.

Beth was chosen as one of the Top 15 women in Events by Event Marketer and was selected to the prestigious WELI Institute at TUCK Business School at Dartmouth to further her sports and events background.

Malafa Kurman currently resides in Baltimore, MD with her husband Chris and two event planners in the making Josephine and Liberty.
