PHILADELPHIA, USA // Allyson McMillan-Youngblood is currently the Head of Oncology Patient Marketing at BMS. She has had an impressive track record of re-shaping business challenges and driving results in her 13 years at Bristol-Myers Squibb Company. During these years, she has worked across HCP and Patient channels in several disease areas with in both the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Business Units; and, has managed in-line products, product launches (new and line extensions) and Life Cycle Management workstreams.
Most recently while working in Oncology, her strategic leadership and tenacity has been well noted with multiple hallmark accomplishments: Leadership initiatives in Immuno-Oncology Disease Education & Disease Education TV Commercial in Advanced Lung Cancer, and Trailblazing work on OPDIVO™ Mass Marketing.
Allyson sports a varied professional background that spans over 20 years in the Pharmaceutical, Medical Device and Consumer Package Goods Industries. She started her career in Sales at Pfizer Inc. where she sold both primary-care and CNS specialty products. She is also classically trained in marketing from such companies as Procter and Gamble (Crest® Franchise and ThermaCare ®) and Schering-Plough, OTC Products Division (Coppertone® and Dr. Scholl’s® Brands).
Allyson lives in Bucks County, PA with her husband, Dr. Joseph Youngblood, and their two children. She and her husband are extremely active in the area and serve on multiple boards and organizations that support the Mercer and Bucks County communities.
