NEW YORK, USA // After a career made pursuing the big, bold ideas, Carolyn O’Neill is currently obsessed with the creativity that lives in the “micro” or personal moments of engagement. At Centron, an indendent healthcare communications agency, Carolyn is leading teams in creating insight-led ideas and experiences that cut through cultural “spamming” and make meaningful connections and impact.

Carolyn joined Centron in 2017 and, together with Executive Leadership at the agency, repositioned and relaunched the agency in market. Since then, Centron has established a unique proposition, built polytalented and fiercely creative teams, expanded its client portfolio and geographic footprint, and been awarded for work that exemplifies the agency purpose of “finding the simplest path to the highest good.”

Carolyn was formerly Executive Creative Director at CDM NY, where she helped shape the agency’s offering and creative vision in rare diseases and led creative work that was recognized by Lions Health, Global Awards, and MMM.

Carolyn is known as a mentor to young talent and has become a magnet for those who share her sense of purpose. Carolyn has served as an Executive Juror for Clio Health, Lions Health, London International Awards, the Global Awards, and the Manny Awards, and was selected to participate in the Save the Children/RB innovation hack at Lions Health in 2016. Carolyn thrives when she’s facing the next challenge, whether it’s finding the elegant solution, skiing outside her comfort zone, or keeping up with her two teenage sons.
