LOS ANGELES, USA // Aveedeh Shahbazi is Vice President of Creative Advertising at The Walt Disney Studios and has worked across theatrical and Disney+ marketing campaigns for Pixar, Walt Disney Animation Studios, Lucasfilm and 20th Century Studios.
In 2012, Aveedeh left a corporate job to pursue her dream career in the entertainment industry. Without a plan or knowing exactly how to “work on trailers,” she started as a studio page at Paramount Pictures in hopes of getting her foot in the door before securing a role in Studio Marketing, then shortly after, in Creative Advertising. After nearly five years at Paramount Pictures and working across 30 theatrical campaigns, in 2016 she moved over to The Walt Disney Studios.
Aveedeh has since produced creative marketing campaigns for theatrically released films like Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Toy Story 4, Frozen 2, Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story, The Bob’s Burgers Movie and most recently Encanto, to name a few, in addition to leading creative campaigns for Disney and Pixar’s streaming titles Soul, Luca, and Turning Red. She is currently spearheading the creative marketing for Disney and Pixar’s Elemental, Disney Animation’s Wish, and Disney and Pixar’s 2024 theatrical releases Elio and Inside Out 2.
She still cannot believe she is living her childhood dream of working on movie trailers (and so much more) and has been able to work alongside some of the most talented individuals in the business across both studios and agencies.
