LOS ANGELES, USA // Alexa is a passionate theatrical motion picture marketing executive with over ten years experience partnering with world-class filmmakers to shape diverse, impactful, and culturally resonant campaigns. She is currently Vice President of Creative Advertising at Searchlight Pictures, part of The Walt Disney Studios, leading creative campaigns for award-winning films across theatrical and streaming releases.
From animated vampires to vengeful Vikings, as a creative advertising executive first at Sony Pictures and then Focus Features, Alexa had the privilege of bringing one-of-a-kind characters and indelible stories to diverse audiences. At Sony, she helped develop and execute the A/V and print advertising for campaigns including Escape Room, Peter Rabbit, Sausage Party, and Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation. As a Vice President at Focus, Alexa crafted the creative advertising for films such as Emerald Fennell’s Academy Award-nominated Promising Young Woman, Edgar Wright’s Last Night in Soho, and Robert Eggers’s The Northman.
Since joining Searchlight in 2022, Alexa has overseen campaigns for Sam Mendes’s Empire of Light, Stephen Williams’s Chevalier, and the Emma Thompson-led Good Luck to You, Leo Grande, and she looks forward to the upcoming Taika Waititi project Next Goal Wins, as well as Nightbitch, starring Amy Adams. Alexa has the honor of serving as the inaugural Inclusion Champion Executive Sponsor for Searchlight Pictures, working to drive forward the studio’s diversity and inclusion initiatives.
Alexa grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and graduated from UCLA with degrees in English and Political Science. She lives in Studio City with her husband and two children, who finally think her job is cool now that she has a Disneyland Silver Pass.
