LOS ANGELES, USA // Born on the island of Manhattan, and raised in the multiplex-abundant suburbs of Northern New Jersey, Matthew dreamt of being a pop idol whilst he consumed a steady diet of Music Television, Home Box Office and VHS rentals.
Sometime after memorizing Spaceballs and abandoning the desire to be the next Jon Bon Jovi, he wound up in Los Angeles determined to forge a career in movie trailer-making.
From his beginnings as a runner at industry-leading agency The Ant Farm to editing full-time at TRANSIT and JAX, he has always strived to break convention and embrace the power of sound & vision.
Matthew has received accolades for his editorial work on campaigns including (500) Days of Summer, Jack Reacher, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, The LEGO Movie, Star Trek Beyond, Atomic Blonde and Ready Player One and in his present role as a creative director on campaigns for Knives Out, Severance, and Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse.
In 2012, he started the Twitter account TrailerBeat to illuminate the agencies behind the exceptional work in our industry.
