DENVER, USA // Cameron Schaefer is CEO of Vinyl Me, Please, recently named Billboard 40 Under 40. In the past several years he has led VMP to become the world's premier record club, with nearly 100,000 active customers and an innovative, high-impact partner to artists, labels & managers. In the process, he has produced reissue projects with artists such as Herbie Hancock, Quincy Jones, Beastie Boys, Whitney Houston and the Grateful Dead as well as new release projects with St. Vincent, Young Thug, Glass Animals & more. Projects like these and their impact on fans & artists have led to brand partnerships with HBO, Sonos, Ace Hotel, Mastercard & BMW where Cameron's understanding of culture, marketing & tech were critical to ensuring their success.
Previous to VMP Cameron was an active duty pilot in the Air Force logging over 600 combat hours in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom and a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, B.S. in Management, as well as receiving an MBA through Colorado State University. He currently resides in Louisville, CO with his wife Marelize and children, Malone, Judah and Wallace.
