LOS ANGELES, USA // Maya Halfon Cordova is a senior music supervisor for Xbox Games, game trailers, and branded content. In her eleven years at Microsoft and Xbox, she’s music supervised games such as the Forza Horizon franchise (2-5), Tell Me Why, and As Dusk Falls. She has worked on numerous marketing campaigns for Xbox, including Forza Motorsport, Forza Horizon and the Clio Award-winning trailer for Gears of War 5.

Maya’s work centers around enhancing gaming experiences for audiences by using music as a means to create meaningful story and world support. She strives to create a more inclusive sound in gaming. While she believes that DEI work will never be truly complete, she takes pride in seeking out music talent that reflects the characters in the story and the breadth of gaming audiences. She’s an active mentor with the Guild of Music Supervisors DEI mentorship program.

In addition to her Clio win, Maya has been nominated for two Guild of Music Supervisors Awards. She holds a B.A. in English Literature from UCLA and continues to write novels in her spare time. She’s an avid pizza enthusiast and preschool mom.
