NEW YORK, USA // Tony Hollingsworth believes that sports advertising holds the power to create agency for athletes and fans, creating a true role for brands in the lives of those they hope to engage. In his current role at Laundry Service, he is responsible for driving strategic direction for brand and social clients across the company. Currently, Tony's work spans Gatorade, Rockstar Energy, and athlete social strategy for Wasserman sports talent clients including Breanna Stewart, Diana Taurasi, Nneka Ogwumike, and others.
In his earlier years at the company, Tony led strategy on NFL x Smirnoff, USPOC, Jordan Brand, and the NBA G League, among many others. He played a part in the rebrand of the NBA G League, its day-to-day content strategy, and their first-of-its-kind, elite college athlete team NBA G League Team Ignite.
Prior, Tony held roles at other agencies including 72andSunny and UnitedMasters. In those roles, he bridged the worlds of culture, music, and sports, while challenging his clients to think bigger in their efforts to connect to communities. Tony also previously worked in-house at Dannon and Oikos as their Digital Brand Manager, focusing on their NFL, social, and branded content initiatives.
Tony is a proud graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he was a four-year sprinter on their Men's Track and Field team. In his personal life, Tony finds joy in music, the New York Liberty, and Thai food. He currently resides in Harlem, New York with his wife Yvette.
