TRUSSVILLE, USA // Birmingham, Alabama, Born with a passion for storytelling and film, Alex began his career in the trailer industry in 2010 at Open Road Entertainment. There, he quickly went from the dub room to producing alongside some of the great creative veterans of the entertainment marketing industry. Through this experience, he learned the craft of short-form storytelling and developed a strong love for producing alongside a creative team. After working on many successful marketing campaigns for major movie studios, he shifted his focus to television and streaming, where he helped build a successful broadcast division for Open Road.

Throughout the years, Alex has been fortunate enough to work with great talents at Open Road Entertainment, The Refinery Creative, and Heart Sleeve Creative. He is now a creative producer at MWA Trailers, where he has worked on campaigns such as David Fincher’s The Killer, the Oscars, and The Power of the Dog.

Whether it’s high-end art house, big studio movies, or genre fodder, he loves it all and finds the greatest reward in watching a creative team take a small idea and mold it into something moving for an audience.

He now works remotely from his hometown of Birmingham, Alabama, where he resides with his wife Siobhan and son Harrison, who inspire him daily. When the day is over, and everyone in the house is asleep, you’ll likely find Alex tucked away in his home theater watching great movies, which is what he loves most.
