TOKYO, JAPAN // Kazoo Sato started his professional career at Sony Music Entertainment as a music producer in 1997, and later he joined Leo Burnett Tokyo to lead creative works on various global brands.
In 2009, he joined TBWA\HAKUHODO and after 4 years as ECD, he is now Chief Creative Officer of the Japan region.
Since joining the agency in 2009, Kazoo has won numerous awards and accolades such as Cannes Gold Lion, Clio Gold, D&AD Yellow Pencil and NY ADC Gold amongst many others. He has served on jury in various international and domestic awards such as Cannes Lions Film, and many others across a wide range of fields such as digital and design. He was also awarded Creative of the Year Medalist by the Japan Advertising Agencies Association in 2011 and Campaign magazine Japan/Korea Creative of the Year 2013. He has also been essential for the agency's seven consecutive years win as Campaign’s Creative Agency of the Year.
He has moved beyond the boundaries of advertising and now also produces live music concerts and interactive events
