Joaquín Molla is the Co-Founder and CCO at the community / la comunidad, which he began with his brother, José Mollá, in 2000.
Within two years, the agency became the world’s 13th most highly awarded agency, according to the Gunn Report.
Before opening la comunidad, Joaquín worked for Ratto/BBDO, where he was instrumental in shaping the agency into one of the best in the country. He worked there for seven years, first as a senior copywriter, and then as head creative director. His work included regional and Global campaigns for brands like Pepsi, Nike, Volkswagen, Visa, Bank of Boston, 7-Up, Bayer and FedEx.

Under Joaquin’s tenure the agency has seen great success across the awards circuit with their most successful year in 2016 closing in on 101 creative awards.
In 2015 the agency won 7 Cannes Lions including the Grand Prix for Press for the agency’s Never Stop Riding Campaign and secured another 4 Lions at this year’s 2016 festival.
Joaquin and his brother were recently featured in Adweek’s 2016 “Creative 100” list - in their annual “Top 50 Creative’s Whose Brilliant Ideas and Beautiful Craft Will Make You Jealous” and also recognized by Business Insider within their yearly 30 most creative people in advertising list.
