Film2Future

Building a more diverse and inclusive Hollywood by empowering a new generation of filmmakers with free intensive filmmaking education and career development support.

Film2Future is promoting change by giving underserved youth access to education and employment opportunities. But we can only accomplish our goals with your help!

  • Volunteer!- Individuals can share your expertise as a mentor or speaker.
  • Partner!- Companies can partner with Film2Future as sponsors of programs that draw on your employees expertise and prepare our students to work in your field.
  • Donate!- Help us continue to provide students access to our free educational program regardless of circumstances, with free transportation, equipment, and food
  • Employ!- Hire Film2Future's trained alumni and help launch their careers.

ONE School

The ONE School helps Black creatives create world-class portfolios via free access to some of the industry’s best talent and leadership programs.

Ways to get involved

The Entertainment Industry College Outreach Program (EICOP) - HBCU in LA

In 2017, EICOP joined forces with The White House Initiative on Historically Black Colleges and Universities (WHI-HBCU) under the Obama administration and launched its signature program, HBCU in LA. The HBCU in LA Internship Program provides a select group of diverse student leaders the opportunity to gain access and opportunities to internships essential for launching and leveraging a career in an industry where they have been sorely underrepresented. This innovative pipeline development initiative is the first Los Angeles based program of its kind to provide students with critical housing and the opportunity to participate in 10 week internships with major studios, networks, talent agencies and other global creative industry organizations.

4A’s MAIP (Multicultural Advertising Intern Program)

At its core, MAIP is a talent development program dedicated to our industry and created by our industry. The moment MAIP fellows are selected they begin cultivating tangible, transferable skill-sets through Spring Training, a 12 week virtual series; connecting with their MAIP mentor(s); and collaborating with cross-national teams on a project brief.

  • Organizations can sponsor a MAIP fellow, a MAIP lab, MAIP Orientation, MAIP selection day, the MAIP Summer Project, or take part in the Face of Talent which is a week dedicated to celebrating their achievements and helping to place them in the industry with their first job.

Access, Netflix X Otis

Access, a Netflix x Otis Entertainment Certificate Program at Otis College of Art and Design, is a new immersive program that provides pathways to competitive careers in entertainment marketing for underrepresented students of color.

  • A key component of the Access program, in addition to classroom work and a 6-month paid apprenticeship, is the mentorship program. Access to industry creatives helps students navigate as they choose their concentration (Design, Editing, or Illustration), receive coaching, and gain more context to prepare them to work in the industry. An equal opportunity marketing movement, Creators, supports underrepresented storytellers in the community. How? By having our award-winning team here at Create donate their time and skills to produce trailers that will promote diverse storytellers and their independent projects.
