SANTA MONICA, USA // Angie Sharma is the Head of Global Partnerships and Franchise Strategy at Lionsgate where she oversees global partnerships, brand integration and is charged with reinvigorating the studio’s approach to building both short and long-term franchise strategies for the studio’s most valuable franchises with a focus on the upcoming prequel to THE HUNGER GAMES heading into production Summer 2025.
Prior to joining Lionsgate, Angie spent over 20 years at Universal Pictures working across the organization to build its Franchise Management, Brand Marketing and Symphony initiatives across its Franchise and Event film slate and legacy IP. JURASSIC PARK is the movie she most often refers to as the single most memorable moviegoing experience that inspired her to work in this industry. Her work and influence as a strategic force on the JURASSIC WORLD franchise along with its ecosystem of Symphony activations, content extensions, experiences, products and theme park attractions continue to make an impact in the cultural zeitgeist of the franchise today.
