COLUMBUS, USA // Arica Kress is the Vice President of Consumer Marketing, Publisher, Sports and Mobile Games at ESL FACEIT Group (EFG). Previously, Kress oversaw both the Digital and Brand Marketing teams at Esports Engine and coordinated all business development for client marketing services, including social media and digital marketing services for all clients and the Esports Engine brand. Now with EFG, she oversees the Consumer Marketing for Publisher clients, Sports and Mobile Games. Overseeing Social Media and Digital for esports leagues for some of the top publishers around the world. Focused on marketing support, social media management, community engagement, brand development and reporting with the core goal to bring top digital experiences and engagements to players and fans worldwide as well as handling all marketing initiatives for the world’s largest mobile esports multi-genre esports competitions.
She was named one of Business Insiders Top Women in Gaming, Esports and Streaming in 2021.
An experienced sports marketer in both traditional sports and esports, Kress has nearly 20 years of experience at the cross-section of sports and entertainment. Prior to joining EFG and Esports Engine, Kress spent 14 years with the Columbus Crew, where she led marketing and communications for the Major League Soccer club and helped to facilitate the launch of the MLS’s official esports league, eMLS and lead the rebrand of the club in 2014.
