CHICAGO, USA // Devin Dismang is a film director/producer & content strategist for professional athletes & brands as the founder of Assemble. Based out of Chicago, Devin specializes in athlete storytelling both long-form and short-form, having directed many sports & athlete-based documentaries, docuseries, YouTube, and social-first content pieces for some of the biggest names in sports in the NBA, WNBA, UFC, NFL, and more. Due to this work, Devin – a four-time Emmy Award winner, 15-time Emmy Award nominee, a Hashtag Sports Creators of Color honoree & four-time Telly Award winner – has been featured in Sports Illustrated, ESPN, and more national publications based on his work with top athlete clients in the NBA, NFL, WNBA, MLB, and internationally.

Alongside his work with Assemble, Devin leads all digital, content, social media, streaming and website efforts with the X Games as their Head of Content. Under his tenure, the X Games has led efforts to grow general public sentiment, athlete participation within XG events as their own brand and has built organic collaborations with leagues such as the NHL and WNBA as well as teams within the NBA & NFL, breaking down the barriers of action sports culture to get more awareness to those athletes. Prior to X Games and building Assemble, Devin’s previous experience includes building the first-ever Athlete Partnerships division for STN Digital, leading Emmy Award winning video production efforts for the Golden State Warriors, as well as live & game presentation efforts for several teams such as the Oklahoma City Thunder, Chicago Fire Soccer Club, and the Atlanta Falcons.
