NEW YORK CITY, USA // Eric Shaw is Vice President of Creative Marketing at Sony Music Publishing, where for the past 19 years he has been pitching SMP’s catalog of over 5 million songs to all manner of advertising and branded content, successfully placing songs in campaigns for Apple, T-Mobile, Uber, Budweiser, and scores of other brands globally. His responsibilities also include negotiating sync licensing deals on behalf of Sony’s songwriters and working closely with both current and legacy artists in the production of custom content and brand partnerships. Eric has also been an invited guest speaker to numerous conferences, panels, and universities, and was previously a music supervisor for dozens of commercials, a working drummer in too many bands, and a snooty record store manager.
