LOS ANGELES, USA // Nicole Parlapiano is the Chief Marketing Officer at Tubi and has brought heart to the brand by reshaping Tubi’s narrative from the ground-up across B2B Marketing, Consumer Marketing, and Communications globally. Parlapiano dove deep into the free streamer’s many audience communities online – from Reddit horror threads to TikTokers engaged with Black Cinema – developing a rich sense of what the brand means to its fans. Her insight – that Tubi offers each and every viewer a personalized content journey, without judgment around what they’re watching – has helped catapult Tubi to have more than 100 million monthly active users with the largest catalogue of Hollywood films and television shows out of any streaming service. While streaming services have historically relied on recognizable talent or big-budget titles to draw attention, Parlapiano took a decidedly different approach when creating Tubi’s award-winning Super Bowl spots, with the goal of introducing the world to Tubi brand-first. A testament to her work, Tubi’s inaugural Super Bowl ads have won or been shortlisted for over a dozen awards to date including the Super Clio Award, Grand Effie Award, and five Cannes Lions.

Parlapiano led the charge on Tubi’s brand refresh as a new chapter for the brand, bringing a renewed playful voice and engaging visual design to the platform. Parlapiano also brought Tubi’s playful personality to the UK with a creative marketing campaign. The campaign, “Watch what you actually want to watch” aims to combat entertainment snobbery and traditionalism – a campaign based on her vision to take the guilt out of guilty pleasure viewing. In her time at the company, Parlapiano has also been recognized on Variety’s Power of Women in Hollywood List (2023, 2024), Ad Age’s Leading Women for 2023, AdAge Finalist for CMO of the Year 2024, Marketing Vanguard in 2024, Fast Company Visionary CMO 2024, and Forbes Entrepreneurial CMO 2025, Business Insider 25 Most Innovative CMOs 2025, Forbes Most Influential CMOs 2025 and the 2025 Variety Power of Women Impact Report.

Parlapiano joined Tubi from Tinder where she spent 2 ½ years as the VP of Marketing for North America. Before Tinder, Parlapiano was the Head of Marketing at WeWork for US, Canada, and Israel where she ran all B2B and B2C marketing for the region. She initially joined WeWork to build and establish the global growth marketing team. Prior to WeWork, Parlapiano was an executive at VaynerMedia where she oversaw account strategy for Anheuser-Busch, JPMorgan Chase, L’Oreal, and Sprint. Parlapiano has an MBA from USC and an MS from Fordham University.
