BEIJING, CHINA // Sally is the Chief Creative Officer of MetaDesign China, where she has spent the past decade alongside her team, building, rebranding and crafting some of the most prominent brands in China, including Taobao, Didi, Pernod Ricard and Audi. As an award-winning creative, Sally passionately believes in the power of creativity to transform business for the better. She understands and navigates the cultural nuances of international brands seeking to localize in China, as well as Chinese brands aspiring to global success. This intersection of creativity, culture and craft is her passion point, and she is equally obsessed with the big picture as with the finer details that make great design. In the fast-paced and high-impact Chinese market, her work combines creativity with cross-cultural understanding, earning accolades from RedDot, Cannes Lions, ReBrand and Transform. In 2023, she was recognized as a ‘Creative Leader to Watch’ by Campaign Asia. Her energy and expertise in design are widely acknowledged by her service on design juries including the Clio Awards, Dubai Lynx, The One Show Asia and Transform Awards Asia.

Prior to her work in China, Sally led the award-winning rebrand of Fiji Airways and crafted the brand design for Cricket Australia’s T20 competition, among other significant projects. Having been fortunate to have great mentors throughout her career, she is committed to supporting rising talent through her leadership, mentorship and roles through organisations like Cannes Young Lions where she has served as Design Jury President for Vietnam in 2022 and Jury Member for China in 2025. Sally has shared her experience, perspective and journey in design at conferences for Icograda and Monotype, as well as at design schools across China and her home country of Australia.
