LOS ANGELES, USA // Sungmi Choi is the Director of Social Marketing for Film, Nonfiction & Live at Netflix overseeing social across these slates. Previously, she was Vice President of Digital Marketing for Universal Pictures where she managed overall digital marketing strategy, online creative, social media, and digital publicity campaigns for the studio’s theatrical and PVOD film releases. She has overseen campaigns for The Secret Life of Pets, The Fate of the Furious, Get Out, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, Us, Hobbs & Shaw, Candyman, and more. Prior to joining the Universal team, she served as the Head of Marketing and Digital Strategy for Blumhouse Productions. Sungmi joined Blumhouse from the digital marketing department of Paramount Pictures. Sungmi is a member of the Marketing and Publicity Branch of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and BAFTA.
