The album Diamonds, Tears and Faces to Forget is an invitation to let go. A message in which BK’ urges fans to detach from everything and everyone holding back their progress. It’s the same essence that has driven humanity since the beginning of time.
To express this, we created a new folklore that came to live through design. A metaphor of a monster lurking in the shadows, feeding on those numbed by their own indolence, as the narrative thread of the album.
That monster is the hyena. Africa’s most cunning predator.
With it, the album launch became a call to join BK’s bando, a pack that moves forward together in pursuit of progress. Until one weak link slows them down, and is left behind to be devoured.
This helped BK'break out of the Rio de Janeiro rap bubble and became recognized as a mainstream artist in Brazil and beyond, competing with The Weeknd for the top spot on Spotify’s global debut chart.
