“Paradise,” a Hulu Original series is set in a serene community inhabited by some of the world’s most prominent individuals. But this tranquility explodes when a shocking murder occurs and a high-stakes investigation unfolds. Ahead of the season 1 premiere, Hulu Originals launched a global integrated campaign focused on leveraging the super fandom Sterling K. Brown, James Marsden and the award winning work of executive producer Dan Fogelman to build anticipation, drive viewership and engagement. Key elements included ‘The Select Few’ custom social activation, a ‘secret influencer/press screening’, two distinct trailers, an early surprise and delight drop of the first episode prior to launch, custom cryptic messaged skywriting activations domestically and internationally, custom featurettes, custom social videos, a cinematic on-air campaign and eye catching key art. Season 1 of “Paradise” amassed 7 Million viewers in its first nine days of streaming globally on Disney+ and Hulu. The series has been praised for its performances, particularly Sterling K. Brown's, and its ability to blend high-concept sci-fi with emotional storytelling. The show has also been recognized for its timely themes, including its exploration of morality in the face of societal collapse. This strategic campaign and marketing efforts led to a culmination of 4 Emmy nominations.
