At a time of rising fear and division, Angel City FC’s “Immigrant City FC” campaign transformed a live match into a unique expression of community solidarity. Fans received 10,000 free, bilingual shirts symbolizing allyship, while players wore them in match arrivals and the official Starting XI photo — fostering unity from the field to the stands. One of our founding investors, the Latin pop superstar Becky G, flew herself in for the day from a shoot in NYC to help us launch the initiative before the game and read a powerful speech the team wrote for the fans, which went viral on social thanks to her massive following. The campaign set social benchmarks, achieved national media coverage, and directly benefited immigration services. It showcased the power of purpose-driven storytelling, redefining the live sports experience as a catalyst for cultural change.
