Netflix has always told stories that turn fans into believers. At Fanatics Fest 2025, it told one in the most unexpected place: the side of a cereal box.
To celebrate Happy Gilmore 2 and cement Netflix’s place in sports culture, we created limited-edition packaging that doubled as a “Previously On” for fans new and old. Every panel was packed with winks—satirical nutritional facts, inside jokes in the fine print, and snappy one-liners where slogans should be. Inside, real snacks made the nostalgia tangible.
What could’ve been a handout became a collector’s item. Fans lined up, traded, and even flipped boxes on eBay, where screenshots of bids became part of the cultural moment. It wasn’t just packaging. It was proof Netflix knows how to make sports storytelling impossible to ignore.
