Brazil has long been portrayed in the media as a men’s-only football talent factory. Nike set out to challenge that narrative by proving how “scary good” women’s football really is.
We launched the Scary Good Factory: a thriller-style game show where fearless girls faced three terrifying challenges inspired by the national team’s most feared female players. Each stage was co-created with the athletes themselves, not only showcasing their abilities but also symbolizing the obstacles women face to prove they are scary good at football. The experience sold out in minutes and hijacked major sports channels, turning women’s football into the main event.
