Since launching their campaign in 2018, Toyota has gotten a lot of attention for the emotional Start Your Impossible Olympic and Paralympic work. We've told the world about their transition from a car company to a mobility company and created genuine relationships with Team Toyota athletes focusing on the stories and athleticism of the Paralympians.
One of the ways Toyota highlighted this transformation is the championing of Paralympic athletes. For Paris 2024, we Toyota pushed for them to assume their rightful place not as para-athletes but simply athletes. And get people to understand that the Paralympics is no different than the Olympics in that some of the most dynamic and memorable stories are unfolding right before our eyes. That the participants are incredible not because of their mobility differences, but because of their athleticism.
