MILAN, ITALY // Originally from the north of England, Paul now works in Italy as Executive Creative Director for healthcare ad agency Sudler Milano. From disease awareness campaigns to brand promotion and patient support tools, the work is 100% focused on health and wellness.
While he has become a specialist in this field (previously working as Associate Creative Director for Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness in London), Paul’s background does not include medicine or indeed any other science. In fact, his first roles in advertising were as a copywriter for various consumer ad agencies, crafting campaigns for Jo Malone, Magners cider and Crème de la Mer, among others. But after stumbling almost accidently into healthcare advertising in 2010, Paul became fascinated by the unique challenge of translating complex science into simple, powerful and memorable stories. Recent industry recognition includes a Global Award and numerous IPA Best of Health Awards, Clio Health Awards and PM Society Awards.
Paul is keenly involved with the development of young talent in advertising and he recently hosted a workshop during the Young Digital Academy at Eurobest in Rome. He was also part of the jury for the 2017 Young Irish Lions competition in Dublin.
