NEW YORK, USA // Janan Morgul is the Director, Global Brand Sponsorships & Experiential Marketing at American Express, leading the company’s strategic brand partnerships and experiences across music and artist partnerships. Janan joined American Express in 2018 and has held roles across the premier events team including tennis, golf and festivals partnerships. Currently in her role, Janan is at the forefront of bringing to life a new generation of talent partnerships, a co-creator model with the artist that harnesses the power of music while also deepening the relationship between artists and fans through authentic and unique experiences, benefits and storytelling custom to each artist. Under Janan’s strategic leadership, American Express has developed comprehensive collaborations with world-leading artists from Harry Styles to Olivia Rodrigo, Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, and Tyler The Creator to create some of the most memorable brand experiences for fans in recent years.
Prior to American Express, Janan worked at Wasserman on the Amex team, consulting on strategy across all music and ticketing partnerships. Before that she worked at Madison Square Garden, where she supported business development on partnerships for the venues, Knicks, Rangers, Liberty and their concert series.
Janan holds a bachelor’s degree from Binghamton University. She currently lives in Chelsea with her husband Michael and their puppy George.
