NASHVILLE, USA // Emily Wright is an Agent in the Music Brand Partnerships (MBP) division of leading global talent, entertainment, sports and advisory company UTA. She is based in the agency’s Nashville office and helps to oversee the brand partnerships business in Music City. Wright is an integral member of the teams representing Brittney Spencer, Carin Léon, Megan Moroney, Midland, Tyler Hubbard, Young the Giant, and more. She seamlessly bridges opportunities for her clients from the brightest new voices in country music to seasoned veterans and mainstream hitmakers. As the result of her and her colleagues’ successes, the MBP team grew the business by 40% in the past year.
While at UTA, she brokered an unprecedented number of deals in the country music space for UTA’s clients such as Brittney Spencer and Victoria Secret, where Brittney was featured in the ensemble cast for the brand’s Undefinable campaign. This marked the first time in Victoria Secret’s history where they included a country musician in their ad. Wright also aligned Megan Moroney with Charlotte Tilbury for a press partnership around a country music award show. This was also the first time Charlotte Tilbury worked in the country music space.
Wright puts her clients at the cultural cross section of music and sports with performances for clients like The Jonas Brothers, Latto, and Megan Moroney at the AT&T College Football Playoffs over the years, Brittney Spencer for Mercedes at the AWNA’s tournament in Augusta in 2023 and DNCE who opened the Chase Soundcheck Series at the US Open in 2022. She also successfully secured T-Mobile as the official sponsor for Lizzo’s tour.
Over the years, she has overseen talent negotiations for campaigns with top brands such as Moet Hennessy, Gap, Ford, Bose, REVOLVE, Madewell, Anheuser-Busch, Hewitt-Packard, FedEx and many more.
Wright has spoken at industry conferences such as Pollstar Live! and was honored on Billboard’s Top Country Power Players list in 2022 and 2023 and was named a winner of the Nashville Business Journal’s 2019 Women in Music Awards.
