BROOKLYN, USA // Daniel “Danny” Nunez is the Chief Creative Officer within the Brands and Properties group at Wasserman, a global sports, music and entertainment company. Nunez joined Wasserman in 2015 via the company’s acquisition of Brooklyn-based creative, production and media buying agency, Laundry Service, where he served as Creative Director. A cultural tastemaker in all areas of marketing, Nunez brings a passion for sports to the intersections of pop culture, music, entertainment and fashion. Nunez currently leads creative efforts for global brands across culture including Pepsi Co, Google, Netflix, Amazon, Taco Bell and Jordan Brand, among others. In 2024, he spearheaded Wasserman’s relationship with Stanley 1913; from winning the business through actively executing the work, Nunez’s fingerprints are evident across the partnership portfolio. Most notably, Nunez’s leadership with Stanley included launching their groundbreaking partnership with global soccer legend Lionel Messi, the first of its kind for the brand.
Nunez started his career in public relations before joining Nike to run global digital and social for the Jordan Brand. Prior to joining Wasserman, he led Nike NRG in New York City. In 2023, Nunez served as a judge for the Shorty Awards, and he holds a bachelor’s degree in public relations, advertising and applied communication from William Paterson University of New Jersey. Nunez currently resides in New York City.
