NEW YORK CITY, USA // Tina Wargo studied film and creative writing at Hofstra University, but quickly found herself immersed in the theater world as a Contract Associate at Actors’ Equity Association post-grad. She continued her creative pursuits as a freelance culture writer for sites like Hello Giggles and Culturess, and discovered a passion for building community on social media. She began as Social Media Manager at ArtHouse Interactive, leading social accounts for Broadway and Off-Broadway shows such as Come From Away, Stomp, and Girl From The North Country. In 2017, she started a new role at TodayTix, quickly moving from Community Manager to Social Media Manager and, over five years, helped build the brand’s voice, developed its content strategy, and elevated its social pages.
She left TodayTix as Associate Director of Content last year, and enthusiastically joined Serino Coyne as Director of Content, where she currently develops content and social strategy for organizations like Manhattan Theatre Club, The NY Phil, National Geographic Live and the National Geographic Museum of Exploration, and shows such as The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Wicked, and Mamma Mia!. She currently lives in Brooklyn, and continues to write screenplays, prose, and essays in her spare time.
