LOS ANGELES, USA // With 11 years of experience leading social-first creative at some of the world’s most awarded agencies, Janni Widerholm has built a career on redefining how brands show up in culture. As Creative Director and Head of Social at TBWA\Chiat\Day Los Angeles, she leads the agency’s social creative and content offering, turning audience and culture-driven insights into ideas that earn engagement for brands including Levi’s, Sephora, Discover Financial Services, Apple, Adidas, Jack in the Box, Behr Paint, Robinhood, and Blue Diamond. Janni began her career at TBWA\Helsinki, where she worked her way up to partner while helping the agency’s largest clients adopt a social-first approach to advertising. At TBWA\Chiat\Day LA she authored the agency’s social methodology, FEED by TBWA, now adopted across the network as a global product.

Her leadership extends beyond client work into organizational transformation. At Chiat, she has evolved the creative department by creating new career paths for content creators, positioning the agency for the future of hybrid work. She has brought in emerging creative talent, mentoring them into leadership opportunities. Her work has earned recognition including the Vanity Fair Changing Your Mind Award (2019) and Young Lions Digital Winner (Finland, 2018). She has served as a judge for the Webby Awards, Anthem Awards, Gerety Awards, and as Head Judge for Grand One, Finland’s largest digital-led advertising competition. Her impact extends into industry thought leadership through House of Content, a weekly culture and marketing podcast described as “the For You Page in audio form.” Alongside co-hosts Melissa Kontu and Christine Goos, Janni explores internet culture, the creator economy, and digital trends with wit and strategic insight. The show attracts thousands of listeners, predominantly female marketing professionals, and has been featured in outlets including Marketing Brew and Muse by Clio.
