NEW YORK, USA // Ruben Mercadal, Global Head of Production at Droga5, is a cross-platform content and creative HOP / Executive Producer. He holds a wide range of experience, having worked on feature films, long-form dramas and TV programs and music videos. He’s also worked in advertising across all disciplines of production: production companies (Godman, Passion Pictures), in post-production and at the agency level (in UK and US), including seven years at BBH London where he produced award-winning work such as Johnnie Walker’s “The Man Who Walked around the World” campaign, which won the Best in Show at the One Show and various Cannes Gold Lions.

Ruben is creatively driven and passionate about producing highly impactful, award winning work, with an effective track record of providing production, management and financial solutions for brands, clients and agencies. He has produced and overseen production on Droga5 NY most recent work for Riyadh Season, Accenture, Coors, Xbox, Hennessy and The New York Times, including the two-time Cannes Lions Grand Prix– and D&AD Black Pencil–winning campaign “The Truth Is Worth It.”
