Anibal Casso

NEW YORK, USA // As North America’s Chief Strategy Officer at Ogilvy and Global Strategy Lead for WPP’s OpenX, Anibal leads integrated strategy across advertising, connections, performance, PR, social, and business transformation. He steers work for some of the world’s most influential brands, including The Coca-Cola Company, Audi, Nationwide, Nestlé, and Dove, bringing the same rigor and creative instinct that defined his earlier work at Wieden+Kennedy, Droga5, JOAN, and 72andSunny, where he helped shape celebrated campaigns for P&G, Old Spice, IKEA, Google, Heineken, and Ketel One.

His work has earned recognition at Cannes Lions, The Effie’s, WARC Effectiveness, The One Show, and Clio Awards. It’s proof that strategy and creativity, when done right, drive both cultural impact and business results.

Anibal’s career began at Y&R in the Dominican Republic, where he cut his teeth on communications and media planning across Latin America before moving to the U.S. to lead multicultural strategy for Heineken, Nissan, Johnnie Walker, Wendy’s, and the NFL at The Vidal Partnership. That foundation taught him what great agencies know instinctively: the best ideas come from understanding people deeply, not as demographics, but as humans.

At Ogilvy, he’s championed the agency’s Intercultural approach, redefining how brands connect authentically with the evolving fabric of America. He’s rebuilt strategy teams to reflect the communities they serve, and leads with a bottom-up philosophy rooted in collaboration, curiosity, and genuine care for the people who do the work.

He believes the best creative doesn’t just win awards. It earns attention, builds brands, and respects audiences. And he knows it when he sees it.
