NEW YORK, USA // Tom Corson serves as the President and COO for RCA Records and is responsible for overseeing the iconic record label in conjunction with Chairman & CEO, Peter Edge.
Since becoming President and COO, Corson alongside Edge has managed to take the company to new heights. He has played a leading role in the return of Justin Timberlake and D’Angelo, the resurgence of Miley Cyrus, the continued achievements of superstar acts Foo Fighters, Pitbull, P!nk, Usher, Kelly Clarkson, Alicia Keys, Shakira, among others and the successes of breakout acts MAGIC!, Pentatonix, Tinashe, Bleachers, Kid Ink and many more.
Prior to being named RCA’s President, Corson held the role of Executive Vice President/General Manager, RCA Music Group where he oversaw operations for RCA, J and Arista Records and has been with the company since J’s inception in 2000.
Prior to RCA Records, Corson served as a leading strategist and influential record executive, shaping the careers of many groundbreaking artists at Columbia Records, Capitol Records, A&M Records, and IRS Records.
Outside the company, Corson sits on the executive committee of the board of directors for the TJ Martell Foundation, an organization which funds leukemia, cancer and AIDS research. He and his family were honored by the Foundation in September 2014 for their support of the organization. He is also a member of the Music and Entertainment Industry Board for City of Hope, a founding committee member of Taste of Hope, and a founding committee member of TJ Martell's World Tour of Wine. Corson is also a member of NARAS and served on the jury for The 2014 Clip Awards.
