VIENNA, AUSTRIA // Gerda is working in advertising for more than 20 years. In this time technology and speed of communications have changed dramatically, but one thing is still the same: 

if you want to be successful, you have to invest in ideas and find the best media to spread, share and support it.

How to find the right idea, how to encourage marketers to invest in extraordinary ones and to find new ways to connect brands with their audience is Gerda’s job and mission – from her start as junior copywriter in Austrias’ number one agency to her current job as ECD at TBWAVienna.

Leading the creative team Gerda develops campaigns for national and international brands active in Austria and over 20 countries in the CEE region. Working in different languages is the challenge that forces you to focus on a strong idea. For more than 20 years Gerda has created work that has won numerous creative and effectiveness awards, from the Austrian Venus to Effie, Golden Drum and the Cannes Lions. As current president of the Creative Club of Austria, Gerda is much involved in fostering young talent and initiated a masterclass for copywriters.
