LONDON, UK // Chris O'Reilly is the co-founder and Executive Creative Director of Nexus, over the last fifteen years it has gone on to become one of the world's leading independent animation studios. It's extensive work in film, TV and commercials includes the Oscar nominated short This Way Up, a Grammy nominated music video, as well as two Cannes Grand Prix winning commercials and several coveted yellow and black D&AD Pencils. 

Chris alongside his business partner Charlotte Bavasso co-founded Nexus Interactive Arts in 2010, which works in the innovative space where storytellers and programmers collaborate to create innovative installations; web and app based projects and interactive films. Installations include The Memory Palace at the V&A, Forms at the National Media Museum as well as extensive digital and installation collaborations with Tate Modern and Tate Britain.  The division has won two Webbys, the Golden Nica at The Prix Ars Electronica and recently picked up an FWA for the innovative interactive film Carp & The Seagull.

Nexus Film and TV division is the recipient of the BFI Vision Award and is developing a slate of features and a kids' TV series with a major US studio. Through its experience in interactive storytelling Nexus is also developing a slate of cross-platform digital stories and is currently in production on an interactive storybook RADIO JONES for release later this year.
