CALGARY, CANADA // Kristen began her career almost 25 years ago in the non-profit sector, and returned four years ago to those roots after several years directing marketing for high-end food brands.

Today, her greatest joy at work is giving members of the Canadian Down syndrome community a stage to shine upon, and together with FCB Toronto, CDSS’s campaigns have been no stranger to a number of marketing award stages. Working alongside FCB on attitude-adjusting and genuine problem-solving campaigns that support the Down syndrome community have been recent career highlights.

On a daily basis, Kristen finds inspiration through the abilities, hard work, and positive attitudes within the greater disability community. She believes that advocacy and awareness speak best through real lives and personalities, and she is grateful to work alongside those that define campaigns like 21 Answers, Endangered Syndrome, and Project Understood.
