LOS ANGELES, USA // A Los Angeles native, Raymond completed his studies at Art Center and Otis College of Art and Design, eventually becoming an instructor at Otis in their Communication Arts department.
While teaching at Otis, Raymond kicked off his professional career path in advertising designing theatrical print at Pyro Advertising/Faction Creative. It was at Pyro where an opportunity to help establish a digital team presented itself, and he quickly dove into a career in Digital Marketing.
Developing 360 creative strategies for theatrical and home entertainment projects for notable clients like: Paramount Pictures, 20th Century Fox, Focus Features, Cruise/Wagner and Warner Bros, Raymond realized and fell in love with the endless possibilities of the digital space.
In 2011, he began a new adventure in his career by joining BLKBX Creative Group. Leading the creative charge, Raymond played a significant role in transforming a 4-person company into a fully operational 40+ person team, shaping their path into digital and social media marketing. His motto "create something out of nothing" and his goal to never be complacent, constantly challenging himself and his team opened the door for BLKBX to foster new client relationships with Pixar/Disney, DC Comics, Netflix, Amazon, Sony Pictures, STX Entertainment, Seriously, Warner bros. and many others.
As VP, Creative Director, Raymond’s team has acquired a multitude of notable awards from Promax, Webby and Shorty in addition to the agency's first Clio award for Zootopia, Theatrical Social. Under his creative leadership, the outstanding work at BLKBX continues with recent digital and social marketing campaigns for DC Comics, Amazon's Man in the High Castle Season 2, Disney/Pixar's Finding Dory, Dreamworks Animation's How to Train Your Dragon, Disney XD, and Seriously's Best Fiends.
