SAO PAULO, BRAZIL // For the past 2 years, Celso Alfieri has been a Creative Director at Y&R São Paulo where he was responsible for developing Verão, the character with the highest recall level in Brazilian advertising in the last years. This character has helped Itaipava become the country’s third biggest beer brand and Grupo Petropolis become the second largest brewery of the market.
Before that, Celso worked at some of the most important national ad agencies such as Talent and (Washington Olivetto’s) W/Brazil, as well as Lowe/Lodduca and Salles, currently Publicis.
In 2011, he was invited to be the Chief Executive Officer of 141 SoHo Square, where he was in charge of Avon’s communication across Latin America.
Celso has worked for several national and international clients like Coca-Cola, MTV, Mitsubishi Motors, Sprite, Uol, Avon, Toshiba, Mizuno, Ipiranga, Ipanema Gisele Bündchen and Avon.
He has been several times a finalist and the winner of Profisionais do Ano, the most important Brazilian advertising award, besides being awarded at other regional and international festivals such as One Show, Art Director Club NY, Fiap, Graphis Advertising and Archive.
